Everytime asians come to your mind, you are probably already imaging some boney tiny girls, well, on the opposite, I am chubby. I have always been defending myself with the theory that it is due to my genes, but at the end of the day I’d have to admit that I just eat more than average asian girls. So that’s why I am going to record my food exploration in this new city I moved to – Düsseldorf.

Super popular these days. I call it “Influencer shop”. Somehow reminds me of the Red Umbrella Cafe in Vancouver with those Benedict eggs and Bagel dishes. A perfect place to go for Sunday-after-gym mood. It feels healthy when you eat it, that’s maybe one of their selling points.

Definitely try out the ice coffee with caramel, mango lassi and all those other delicious cocktails. The flying rice noodle with green curry and a lot of fried chicken sticks only costs 11.90 and the style is just eye catchy for an Instagram post! Like most of the Vietnam restaurant, it is not too big but very cozy decorated.

We visited there on a Saturday morning and the breakfast buffet costs 11,90 each person on Saturday 09:00 – 12:00, drinks not included. The dining environment is gorgeous and I loved their carrot bread. Fresh, crispy and a bit sweet. The cheese and ham selection is just average but the cereal corner was amazing. Flaxseeds, Chia and pumpking seeds, flavored yoghurt, so yummy!

The lunch menu is a bit of overpriced I would say, but it is Oberkassel, so 🙂 I think it is a combination of Asian and European kitchen, just as the name already suggests. I love the cheese cake and coffee shop near this restaurant haha, so you know where you can get the dessert after food.
